In this sweet little book, the bedtime ritual becomes an interactive game. Toddlers can put the bunny to bed themselves: they can clap their hands, shake the pillow, scratch behind the ears and
give a goodnight kiss of course. And on the very last page they are allowed to turn off the light. Good night, Little Rabbit!

Perfect for the iPad generation
A little scratching behind my ears is the perfect book for children who like to play on the iPad: just like on the tablet, you can 'tap' and 'swipe', but in a paper book!

Little Rabbit has to go to bed: 'Will you give his pillow a good shake?', 'Just say: hocus pocus and - whoops - then he's in it.', 'Now tickle his ears and gently stroke his back.' This square, hardboard picture book with two rounded corners is closely related to the perception of young toddlers and provides a positive stimulus to emotional development. The simple prints take up double pages and feature a few lines of text that invite the 'reader' to tuck Rabbit in, pet him and give him a kiss. The title presupposes that the whole is written in the I-form, which is not the case. The clear prints work with a frontal view of Little Rabbit with an attribute such as pajamas or pillow. Later, when Rabbit is in bed, top view was used. The use of color and shading are effectively kept sober (predominantly red and blue tones) so that the attention remains well focused. Playful elaboration of a recognizable fact. From approx. 1.5 years.
