Mrs. Strawberry

The emergence

In addition to the webshop, Mrs. Aardbei also has a beautiful collection with products designed by herself. The owner of Mrs. Aardbei is Merel Veenendaal; "The name Mrs. Aardbei comes from my childhood, when I was about 2 years old, I once seriously responded to the question 'Wie alt bist du?' my answer was 'Strawberry'.

A little later I had to have surgery and in the hospital I was wearing a strawberry sweater. A doctor who knew my mother well called me 'Mrs. Strawberry' in reference to the incident and the sweater. In my later life I was regularly called Mrs. Strawberry.

way of life

From the beginning I have always been involved with design and see it as a 'way of life', my passion.
In 2007 I completed the training at Cibap Zwolle; Designer Advertising Presentation and Communication. After that my dream was to go to Artemis Academy Amsterdam; in 2010 I completed the Interior Styling course.
I enjoy working every day: there is still so much to discover, it is never finished and nothing is impossible! It is therefore not surprising that styling has become my profession. This is how the webshop Mrs. Strawberry was born. †
