The emergence

The Danish design brand Maileg was founded in 1999 by Dorthe and Erik Mailil. Dorthe has a unique style and is responsible for the design of all Maileg products. The rabbit series is now known worldwide, but the other animals are also made with love.

The designs

At Maileg, every design is made with great attention to detail, the Maileg products are partly made by hand and special materials are always sought. Where possible, they opt for organic cotton, but often use is made of a mixture of fabrics in order to achieve the most special combinations. In any case, Maileg always opts for the very best materials, including; organic cotton, non-toxic and lead-free paint and recyclable wood.
